"Life is partly what you make it and partly the friends you choose." - T.Williams

Friends? How do you define them?

To me, they are the next best person to turn to after your parents/sisters/relatives.
I have the urge to write about this topic after calling Izza, my 9 years best friend.

Izza, someone who has bare to be with me for the past 9 years, someone I really really appreciate. I mean, remember, when we joined St John Ambulance, librarian and tennis together? Not to forget, all those dramas and dance performances we will always stick to each other no matter what kan? :')

You will always be there for me,to lend your ears, to advice, and your shoulders to lean and cry. I mean, you were the best friend I can never imagine to have before.
Yes, there were fights where we didn't talk and so on, but that makes our friendship stronger.

But back in 2008 and 2009, our distance becomes further and it seems to so far away and so hard to talk to you. I don't deny, I was busy with F1 and you too, were busy with your drama. I'm wrong if I deny I was jealous cause you got close to different clan and I was too.

A friend is one who knows you and loves you just the same.
Elbert Hubbard

It becomes even more further when now, we are in different higher institution. Lesser conversation apatah lagi when we don't see each other that much.

But to be honest, I do miss everything we use to share.
Remember my birthday, once? We celebrated in Times Square, watched Deja Vu and ate steamboat. *yang I belanja tu?* haha

Remember, we were korean drama freaks, and we'll actually make it a topic when we see each other in school every morning. Though we were different in classes since Form 1 till Form 5. We still talk when we go recess, extra co-curricular activities, during assembly. Seriously, I miss those moments which I can't turn back the clock and enjoy it again. I just wish that our friendship still stays on and grow stronger every year.

We are no longer in the same school, but we make an effort to at least make up something out of our friendship.Instead of just telling my children in the future *kalau ada* who was my best best friend, I rather introduce you to them. Cause I still can't find anyone to replace you, till now, and hopefully you'll understand what I mean.

Till here first, hopefully you'll be reading this.
and happy belated birthday Izza!
*I wished I was celebrating your 18th birthday with you*

Friendship... is not something you learn in school. But if you haven't learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven't learned anything.
